from the earth
A concept film for skincare and wellness brands.
Concept
We open on a wide shot: a man stands at the shoreline, rubbing sand across his face. He wears earth-toned linens. His presence is quiet and timeless. The world feels ancient, untouched.
He washes his face slowly with water. The sand dissolves. He wipes his face with a linen cloth. Then he bows, laying his forehead to the sand. He kisses the earth. Comes back up.
The ritual is complete.
The ground begins to shift. Subtle. Sacred. The sand falls inward, creating a small hollow. From beneath it, a vessel emerges. He lifts it, opens it, and applies the contents with quiet care.
No dialogue. Just breath, texture, and stillness.
It is not a transformation.
It is a return.

Deliverables
This would be a one-day shoot on a beach location near New York City, captured with a lean crew using 16mm Kodak film.
We envision a 30–60 second hero film, with optional stills and social cutdowns, fully produced by Cecil.
Seeking a Brand Partner
We're looking to collaborate with a brand that shares our values of ritual, care, and timeless design.
Production is set for end of July, and we're shooting with a minimal, intimate crew.
If this feels aligned, we’d love to share a few more details.
